When making use of condor's disks from a Macintosh. Do the following:
- Go to the apple menu, then to the chooser. Once there, click upon the "Appleshare icon". That will cause a button to appear in the chooser labeled "Server IP Address".
- Click upon the "Server IP Address" button -- thus causing a new box to appear in which you should type "condor.wesleyan.edu".
- Upon hitting return, condor will ask you for your username and password. If you successfully enter this, then look upon your desktop. You should see an icon appear with a tiny Sun logo inside it labeled "Condor".
- When you click upon this, it will ask you what share you want to view. And there you will see your home directory. Click upon that and enjoy!
At this point, you may use the files upon condor as you would any other folder on your Macintosh. You can drag and drop files to condor and back. Just keep in mind your quota! There are a few other things to keep in mind. Inside your home directory there is a link to your html area on condor. Thus, you may now drag and drop web pages. However, do _not_ drop the public_html folder into the trash, for that is bad :).
Enjoy!
