Junior Unix Administrator: Wesleyan University.			July 1998 - December 2000
	Fed and Maintained Assorted Unices.  Administrated machines with between 10 
and 10,000 user accounts.  Primary duties included backups, security, systems 
programming in Perl, Bourne shell, and C.  In addition, aided Academic departments 
with their personal/departmental Unix machines.  Gave talks dealing with 
assorted Unix topics.  Moved all student accounts to separate mail server and 
implemented elaborate DNS, mail aliasing, and web aliasing scheme.

Unix Administrator:  Mathematics Dept.  Wesleyan University.	July 1997 - June 1998
	Maintained small NIS network for Math/CS department.  Addressed 
problems with older machines while learning to help faculty with assorted problems.  
Learned basic BSD networking.

Helpdesk Consultant, Manager, Sys Admin:  Wesleyan University.	June 1995 - Sept 1997
	Aided Wesleyan community with assorted computing troubles on all 
common computing platforms, including Macs, DOS, Win3.1->WinNT4, assorted 
Unices, and Netware.  Focused upon  personal and phone interactions with often 
distraught students, faculty, and staff.

Residential Computing Consultant, Manager, Consultant:  Wesleyan University.  June 1995 - Sept 1997
	Aided students in assorted dorms.  Trained other Consultants.

Systems Administrator:  Wesleyan University Student Net (Wadi).
	Worked with often decrepit hardware to make useful machines which perhaps 
should have  been thrown away.  Dealt with numerous security problems. 

			Skills and Interests

OS experience: (In order of use) -- Solaris, FreeBSD, Linux, AIX, Irix, Digital Unix, 
WinNT/95, MacOS, DomainOS, Netware, and the Gnu HURD.

Programming Languages: Perl, SQL (specifically Oracle, MySQL, and PostgresQL), Lisp 
(especially Scheme (These parens are a joke)), C, Java, Python, Bourne, Awk, and ML.

Other Languages: Ability to read Latin, Greek, and French.

Personal Interests:  Literature, Swimming, Roller Blading, Ultimate Frisbee, and Snowboarding.
